Mr. David "Hi. Oh, yeah...! I've seen you before. I remember you! So how is it going?"
Saori "Thanks. well, its good. Still learning lots of works though."
Mr. David. "Yeah, it must be hard. Sorry, I gotta go now. Good to see you!"
Saori "Good to see you again!"
Is this still correct in this case? I know I beter to say just "You too." But I just said like this. I will appreciate for your a little more explain and take good care of yourself :)

ReplyDeleteHi Saori! Sorry it's taken me forever to get back to you. Your question relates to my Top Ten Mistakes: Participial Adjectives. Please take a look for a good review. In brief, "People are confusing" has an active meaning. It means that people cause others to feel the feeling of confusion. "People are confused" has a passive meaning. It means that people feel the feeling of confusion. Something MAKES them feel that way--they don't CAUSE the feeling. Hope this helps!

ReplyDeleteI'm really sorry I missed my last lesson. I had been sick for several day (T.T)
I've registered next lesson , you're to be my teacher again. But I had to postpone my lesson until 14 Nov. Because I want to enjoy my lesson with easy feeling but currently I could'nt for my husband's promotion test. Carrot noticed me my teacher would change if I delay my lesson, as you are a very popular teacher when you have vacancy lesson, it will be filled very quickly ^^ I really want to study eng. together again,I may not.(T.T)
